Tim Olson

Tim Olson has a strong background in software development and design, with experience spanning over several decades. Tim has held senior positions in various companies, including IMSI Design, Evolution Software LLC, Punch! Software, Encore Software, CADSoft Solutions Inc, and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.

At IMSI Design, Tim worked as the Vice President of Software Development, managing activities related to various design products. Tim led software development teams across multiple countries and dealt with localization issues.

As the President of Evolution Software LLC, they led the software development efforts for computer-aided design products developed under contract from Encore Software. Tim also performed specific development tasks and had hands-on experience with Mac and PC development tools.

Prior to that, Tim served as the Vice President of Development at Punch! Software, where they contributed to making 3D design software enjoyable and productive. Tim played a role in making Punch! Software the best-selling home and landscape design retail software brand in the U.S.

Tim also briefly worked as the Vice President of Development at Encore Software.

Before moving into the software industry, Tim worked at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as the Chief Engineer Design Methods. Tim was responsible for designing the Advanced Computer Aided Design (ACAD) system used internally by Lockheed for various advanced design projects. Tim received recognition and awards for their contributions to radar cross-section analysis methods and low-cost computer-aided design systems.

Tim Olson attained their Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering (BSAEM) from the University of Minnesota in the duration of 1978 to 1982.
