Matthew Primatello has a varied work experience in the field of IT and cybersecurity. Matthew started their career at Fairfield University as an IT Help Desk Technician from September 2019 to May 2020. During this time, they provided technical support to users and resolved their IT-related issues.

After that, Matthew worked as an Information Technology Infrastructure Intern at SIG SAUER, Inc. from June 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for managing desktop tech refresh projects, including imaging and application deployment for user systems. Matthew also assisted with a tech refresh project of approximately 1,000 new computer deployments and provided support for end users and production floor systems.

Currently, Matthew is employed at Turbocam International as a Cybersecurity Analyst, a position they started in September 2022. Reporting to the Director of IT and Cybersecurity, their responsibilities include conducting security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis. Matthew also analyzes security breaches, identifies the root cause, and makes recommendations for improvements.

Matthew Primatello, GSEC, received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Fairfield University from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2018, Matthew attended Georgetown High School and obtained their High School Diploma. In addition to their academic achievements, Matthew also holds the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from GIAC Certifications, which they obtained in December 2022.
