Carlos Ruiz González

Carlos Ruiz González is an experienced tourism and information technology professional with a robust background in promoting Spain as a tourist destination. Since May 2009, Carlos has served as the Director of the Spanish Tourist Office in the UAE, overseeing promotional activities in the GCC countries and Iran. Prior roles include Head of Advertising and Social Media at Tourspain, Deputy Director at Spain's Official Tourism Office in London, and various IT-related positions within the Spanish Central Government and other organizations. Carlos holds a Master's degree in Tourism and Public Administration from Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública and an engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, complemented by additional business management studies.
