Senior Propulsion Engineer at Turion Space

Taylor Raines has held various positions in the engineering, teaching, and journalism fields since 2009. In 2009, Taylor worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Eastern Arizona College and a Journalist at Southwest Express News. In 2010, Taylor worked as an Audio Engineer at Eastern Arizona College. In 2012, Taylor worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA Mathematics Research Assistant and an Aspen Grove Events Specialist at Brigham Young University. In 2015, Taylor worked as a Research Assistant at Utah State University. In 2017, Taylor worked as a Lead Teaching Assistant, Personal Tutor, and Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University. Finally, in 2022, Taylor began working as an Electric Propulsion Engineer at Turion Space.

Taylor Raines completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Mathematics from Eastern Arizona College between 2008 and 2011. From 2012 to 2013, they attended Brigham Young University, but did not receive a degree. Taylor then went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University between 2013 and 2016. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University between 2016 and 2018.
