Bahadir Zeren

VP Of IT at Turkish Aerospace Industries

Bahadir Zeren has had a diverse range of work experience, spanning multiple industries and roles. Bahadir started their career in 2004 as a Product Manager at Turpak and later worked as an Analyst Programmer/Team Lead at Turkish Airlines from 2010 to 2018. In 2016, they became a Consultant at the Southwest Airlines Pilots Association. Zeren then transitioned to the academic field, working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Nottingham in 2018. Bahadir held the role of Management Information Systems Manager at Turkish Aerospace from 2019 to 2020 before being promoted to VP of IT. Zeren has also taken up a lecturing role at OSTİM Technical University from 2022 to 2023.

Bahadir Zeren holds a Post Doc degree in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham, obtained in 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Optimization Algorithms with a specialization in Mathematical Programming, MILP, Column Generation, Heuristics, and Scheduling from Istanbul Technical University in 2017. In 2008, they obtained a Master's Degree in Optimization Algorithms, focusing on Dynamic Programming, Metaheuristics, and Scheduling, also from Istanbul Technical University. Bahadir'seducational journey started with a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2001.
