Onur Yavuzyılmaz

Onur Yavuzyılmaz has had extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Onur began their career at TEI - Tusas Engine Industries, Inc., where they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer from November 2010 to November 2013. During this time, they were responsible for the mechanical design of engine components, focusing on the combustion chamber and its interfaces with other engine parts. Onur utilized UG NX CAD tool for 3D modeling and interface control and prepared combustion analysis models for FLUENT. Onur then advanced to the role of Mechanical Design Lead Engineer at TEI from November 2013 to July 2014, where they continued to oversee the design of the combustion chamber and related areas.

In 2015, Onur Yavuzyılmaz joined Turkish Aerospace as a Design Engineer and worked until November 2018. During this period, they were involved in the design of various aerospace components. Onur then transitioned to the role of Design Specialist, where they further utilized their expertise in design. Currently, Onur Yavuzyılmaz holds the position of Senior Lead Engineer at Turkish Aerospace, beginning in February 2023.

Onur Yavuzyılmaz completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Burak Bora Anatolian High School from 2001 to 2005, focusing on Physical Sciences.
