Hon. E. Jay Saunders

Hon. E. Jay Saunders currently serves as a Member of Parliament and Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance, Investment and Trade within the Turks and Caicos Islands Government since February 2021. Saunders holds significant positions including membership in the National Security Council, where recommendations on external affairs and defense are made to the Governor. Additionally, Saunders is the Chairman and CEO of Domus Semo Sancus, focusing on financial inclusion, and has been involved with XPRIZE as a Vanguard since 2014, facilitating innovation. Previous roles encompass Chairman of the Turks and Caicos Islands Civil Aviation Authority, CEO positions at WIV Cable TV and Digicel TCI, and various leadership roles in organizations such as the Providenciales Chamber of Commerce and the Caribbean Association of National Telecommunications Organizations. Educational background includes attendance at Trinity College School.
