Louise Nixon

Louise Nixon is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial disputes and health law. Since February 2020, Louise has served as a Partner at Turks, following a successful tenure as a Partner and Special Counsel at Lander & Rogers from March 2014 to January 2020. Louise played a pivotal role in establishing the Brisbane office of Lander & Rogers and was actively involved in the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency during this time. Prior experience includes a progression from Paralegal to Special Counsel at DLA Piper, where Louise worked from August 1997 until 2013, initially joining Phillips Fox while completing studies at QUT. Louise holds a Master of Law from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from QUT, along with accreditation as a Mental Health First Aider obtained in November 2020.
