Richard Brookes is a seasoned heritage planning professional with over two decades of experience in the field. Currently serving as the Director of Heritage at Turley Associates since November 2010, Richard provides specialist advice on heritage planning. Previously, Richard held the position of Principal - Heritage at DPP from April 2007 to November 2010 and worked as a Conservation Officer for the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames from January 2003 to April 2007. Early career experience includes serving as Assistant Conservation Officer at Guildford Borough Council in 2002. Richard holds a Master's degree in Town and Country Planning / Urban Conservation from Newcastle University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Durham University.
