Turlock Irrigation District
Brandon Johnson is an experienced IT Services Project Analyst at Turlock Irrigation District since April 2015. Prior to this role, Brandon worked as a Data Analysis and Tech Support Specialist at Advantage Route Systems, providing data analysis and technical support for customers transitioning between software packages. Brandon began a career in research as a Student Researcher at GroundMetrics, Inc., collaborating on a Senior Design Project, and gained additional experience at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where assistance was provided in database organization and the development of a portable backup generator system. Brandon's early role as Assistant III at UCSD Craft's Center complemented a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering obtained from UC San Diego in 2013.
Turlock Irrigation District
Established in 1887, the Turlock Irrigation District is the first publicly owned irrigation district in the state and one of only four in California today that also provides electric retail energy directly to homes, farms and businesses. Organized under the Wright Act, the District operates under the provisions of the California Water Code as a special district. TID is also an independent control area and is governed by a five member Board of Directors.
