James Parsons is a Principal Multiplayer Engineering Lead at Turn 10 Studios, with extensive experience in developing multiplayer and gameplay experiences for the Forza Motorsport series. Since joining the company in June 2012, James has progressed through various roles, from UX Engineer to senior leadership positions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high quality and performance in game features. Notably, James led the Multiplayer Engineering Scrum Team for Forza Motorsport 7, which received a Metacritic score of 87 upon launch. Prior to Turn 10 Studios, James conducted research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) lab at the University of Washington, where a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering was earned.
