Manager of Data & Research at Turnaround for Children

Claudia Hebert has a diverse work experience that spans across various organizations and roles. Claudia began their career as a General Member of the College of Liberal Arts Student Board, where they organized events and served as a communication point between students, administration, and alumni. During their freshman year, they worked as a Sociology Undergraduate Research Assistant, conducting research on the Darfur genocide and analyzing patterns of gendered violence. Claudia also gained customer service experience as a Server at The Pittsburgh Golf Club, serving at parties, receptions, and weddings.

At the University of Minnesota, Claudia held multiple research roles. Claudia worked as a Research Assistant in the Attention, Memory, and Cognition Laboratory, focusing on experiments related to redundancy gain in visual search. Claudia wrote their honors thesis on this work and was published as the first author in a scientific journal. Claudia also worked as a Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Work and Organizations, assisting with research in the area of industrial-organizational psychology. In this role, they acted as a project manager, coordinating a team of research assistants and running participants for data collection.

Claudia further expanded their research experience at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, where they worked as a Researcher in the Division of Epidemiology and Community Health. Claudia conducted legal research in the alcohol epidemiology program and collaborated on grants related to the law enforcement initiative called Place of Last Drink.

Most recently, Claudia joined Turnaround for Children as the Manager of Data & Research. Prior to this role, they served as the Data and Research Coordinator at the same organization.

From 2016 to 2019, Claudia Hebert obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. During their time at university, they also pursued minors in Public Health and Neuroscience.
