Aly-khan S. Merali has an extensive work experience in the finance and hospitality industries. Aly-khan currently serves as the President and Managing Partner at Stonebridge Companies, overseeing all operational aspects of the business. Previously, they worked at Turnberry as the President and CFO, where they managed capital market activities, development projects, and acquisitions. Aly-khan also held the position of Executive Vice President, Chief Financial & Investment Officer at Turnberry, spearheading strategic initiatives and overseeing capital market activities.

Before joining Stonebridge Companies and Turnberry, Merali worked at Gencom as the Executive Vice President Acquisitions and Capital Markets. Aly-khan played a crucial role in the company's investments in various hotel and resort properties across the United States, Caribbean, and Europe. At Pioneer, they served as the Co-Principal and Chief Financial Officer, leading financial operations and participating in significant transactions, including the sale of the company to a public entity.

Merali also gained experience as an Analyst - Strategy at Sonnenblick Goldman (Cushman Wakefield) and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Sales - Europe at Neptune Hotels and Resorts, where they managed sales contracts and implemented reservation and sales software.

Earlier in their career, Merali worked at CareCo as the Director of Development, overseeing real estate development and acquisitions. Aly-khan also gained experience in commercial banking at CIBC.

Throughout their career, Merali has demonstrated expertise in capital transactions, asset management, strategic initiatives, and financial operations.

Aly-khan S. Merali pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Simon Fraser University between 1992 and 1996. Following this, they went on to complete their Masters of Management in Hospitality, specializing in Real Estate Finance - Hospitality, from Cornell University from 2004 to 2006.
