Alicia Houk, CPA, CPCU has a strong background in risk management and financial controls. Alicia is currently the Internal Controls & SOX Compliance Manager at Turning Point Brands, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Risk Management at Cover Genius from June 2022 to April 2023. Alicia also served as a Risk Manager at Munich Re (Group) from March 2021 to June 2022, and as a Risk Manager at Digital Partners, a Munich Re company, from November 2018 to March 2021. Before their roles in risk management, Alicia worked at American Modern Insurance Group as a Risk Governance and Controls Senior Analyst from December 2016 to November 2018, as an Enterprise Risk Analyst from March 2015 to November 2018, and as a Senior Accountant II from June 2013 to March 2015. Alicia began their career as a Senior Auditor at EY in 2008. Alicia's expertise lies in risk management, financial controls, and compliance.

Alicia Houk, CPA, CPCU completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the Accountancy Board Of Ohio in 2010. Furthermore, Alicia obtained their Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification from The Institutes in 2018 and is currently in good standing as a CPCU.
