Yan Chen

Yan Chen has over 15 years of work experience in various roles in the technology industry. Most recently, in 2023, they worked as a Senior Director of Software Engineering at TurningPoint Healthcare Solutions. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2023, they held positions at WCG, including Director of Product Development and Associate Director of Solutions Implementation. From 2017 to 2021, Yan worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at WCG ePharmaSolutions. Yan also has experience as the Chief Technology Officer at Load Control Technologies from 2015 to 2017. Yan's earlier work includes roles at NextDocs as a Director of Software Engineering and Cloud Services, Software Engineering Manager, Technical Program Manager, and Scrum Master/Senior Software Engineer. Yan also worked as a Software Architect at Load Control Technologies and as a Software Consultant at NCS Group.

Yan Chen completed a Bsc(Honors) in Computing from the National University of Singapore from 2001 to 2005, specializing in Computer Engineering. In 2004, Yan also briefly attended the University of Pennsylvania to study Entrepreneurship & Business Management. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2000, Yan studied Science with a focus on Computing at Raffles Institution. Additionally, Yan obtained certifications in "Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI" from Microsoft in 2019 and "Certified Scrum Master" from Scrum Alliance in 2010. Yan is also currently pursuing a certification in "What Is Generative AI?" from LinkedIn, expected to be obtained in 2023. Yan also participated in the NUS Overseas Colleges program in 2004.
