Kat Backof serves as the Principal Product Strategy Manager and Chief of Staff to the Chief Product Officer at Turnitin since December 2022, following a trajectory that includes roles as Senior Product Strategy Manager and Managing Consultant at Guidehouse. Previous experience at Hilton involved leading cross-functional teams to improve guest loyalty and engagement, including the launch of a major product test across 700 hotels. Additional consulting experience includes market strategy development for Gnowbe and internship contributions to brand strategy at Hilton. Earlier career highlights include program management at the International Youth Foundation, freelance French translation, and outreach coordination for the Center for Applied Linguistics.
