Mae Mirkin

Mae Mirkin has significant work experience in the field of design. Their most recent role was as a Principal Designer at Turnitin since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Design professional at a Series A Startup from September 2021 to May 2022. Mae also served as a Senior Manager of Design at Capital Group from December 2020 to September 2021. Prior to these roles, they worked at Amazon in various UX design positions from 2014 to 2020, including Principal UX Designer, UX Lead, Senior UX Designer, and UX Designer. Mae's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior User Experience Designer at AKQA from November 2012 to January 2014, an Interaction Designer at Deeplocal from September 2009 to November 2012, and a Design Intern at Apple in 2009. Mae also gained experience as an Interaction Design Intern at Johnson Controls in 2008 and was a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from 2007 to 2008.

Mae Mirkin obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University between the years 2005 and 2009.
