Susana Torres Corona has a diverse work experience in user experience (UX) research and teaching. Susana currently works as a UX Researcher at Turno, formerly TurnoverBnB. Prior to that, they worked as a UX Researcher Consultant for an undisclosed company from 2015 to 2022. Susana also served as a Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2016.

Before joining Turno, Susana held various influential roles in the industry. Susana worked as a Senior User Tester/Researcher at ConnectFive, Inc. from 2014 to 2015, where they were responsible for conducting user research and validation studies for an in-vehicle touch control system-display. Susana adopted different research methods based on project requirements.

Earlier in their career, Susana worked as a Senior Human Factors Project Engineer at Kohler Co. from 2008 to 2010. Susana acted as an internal consultant for user experience research, conducting end-to-end user research and utilizing unique research tools. Susana also performed statistical analysis and translated user observations into actionable recommendations. Additionally, they effectively communicated user research findings to business stakeholders and advocated for the voice of the user.

Susana Torres Corona's education history includes a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering-Human Factors and Ergonomics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, which they earned from 2002 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering – Human Factors and Ergonomics from The Pennsylvania State University, which they completed from 2000 to 2002. Susana began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de León, which they pursued and completed between 1992 and 1997.
