Jacob R.

Jacob R. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations. Jacob began their career at Mayo Clinic as a Clinical Trials Coordinator/Research Associate from February 2002 to October 2004. Jacob then worked at Scios as an In House CRA II from October 2004 to April 2005. Jacob joined Genentech as a Clinical Trial Manager in 2005. In 2006, they moved to InterMune as a Clinical Study Manager. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Quintiles as a Sr. CRA III. Jacob joined Amgen in 2009 and held the position of US Lead Clinical Operations Manager until March 2014, after which they became a Senior Manager of Clinical Operations until April 2015. Jacob then joined Nektar Therapeutics as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations from April 2015 to December 2016. Jacob was promoted to Director of Clinical Operations from December 2016 to July 2017. Jacob then joined Atara Biotherapeutics, Inc. as a Director of Clinical Operations from July 2017 to October 2018. Jacob then worked at Allogene Therapeutics, first as a Director of Clinical Operations from October 2018 to July 2021, and later as a Senior Director of Clinical Operations from July 2021 to September 2022. Currently, they are working as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Turnstone Biologics since October 2022.

Jacob R. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of North Florida from 1999 to 2002. Jacob then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration degree in Project Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which they completed from 2011 to 2020.
