Joseph Campisi

Joseph Campisi has extensive work experience in the legal and corporate sectors. Joseph currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Turnstone Biologics since August 2021. Prior to that, they served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Scorpion Therapeutics from March 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Scorpion Therapeutics, Joseph held various senior roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. From August 2016 to January 2020, they were the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, overseeing the Transactional Practice Group. Prior to that, they served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel from July 2003 to August 2016.

Joseph began their career at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where they worked as an Associate from October 1989 to March 1998, and later as a Partner from March 1998 to July 2003.

Joseph started their professional journey at DELOITTE & TOUCHE USA, LLP as an Audit Senior from August 1984 to August 1986.

Joseph Campisi has an extensive education history. Joseph attended H Frank Carey High School from 1975 to 1979. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting at St. John's University, The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Joseph then continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from 1983 to 1986. Finally, from 1986 to 1989, Joseph attended the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where they received a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with distinction.
