About the team

Turo is looking for a Photography Producer with in-house creative experience to join our team. This position will work closely with the Manager of Photography to build and maintain a library of vibrant images that highlight the unique Turo community, vehicle selection, and places you can go, thanks to Turo. 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for photography and a keen eye for detail. They will have experience working with both external service providers and internal teams, and be an excellent communicator. They will be open to opportunities to travel in order to be on set for certain productions.  They will work in our DAM to assist users and audit asset metaproperties. Their drive for success will enable them to help improve processes and best practices in collaboration with their larger team. 

Sitting on the brand creative team, this person will regularly partner with our colleagues in marketing and sales as well as cross-functional teams such as product, people, and business development. 

What you will do

  • Generate production plans and pitches to support various media needs
  • Manage production logistics such as scheduling, location scouting, equipment procurement, and talent coordination
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters and other stakeholders to keep photography deliverables in scope
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams (procurement, legal, accounts payable, etc) and external vendors (photographers, agents, line producers, location scouts, stylists, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of shoots
  • Contribute ideas and insights to enhance our ongoing lifestyle and listing photography programs, as well as production best practices
  • Help further develop our network of freelancers
  • Assist with administrative tasks in our DAM

Your profile

  • 3+ years of experience in photography production
  • A strong, compelling resume and portfolio showcasing relevant work experience
  • Technical knowledge of camera operation and lighting
  • Expert in Adobe CC products

Bonus if you have

  • Degree in photography or related fieldFamiliarity with DAM operations
  • Experience with vehicle photography
  • Video production experience

The San Fransisco base salary target range for this full-time position is $86,000-$97,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in this location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
