Lorie Boyd

Chief People Officer at Turo

With nearly 25 years’ experience working in Silicon Valley under her belt, Lorie is responsible for everything people-related at Turo: recruiting, benefits, compensation, immigration, performance management, retention, learning & development, employee engagement, and reward & recognition. She has a background in finance, technology, and human resources, having initially worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as an auditor, later moving to Oracle as a university recruiting manager, and then landing her first HR manager role working for a then-unknown startup called Salesforce.com in 2000. Before joining Turo, Lorie served as the VP of People at Kahuna and Womply. Previous to those leadership roles, Lorie led global recruiting for Zendesk, growing the company from 100+ employees to nearly 900 employees in three years across nine offices worldwide.
