Susan Athey

Susan Athey is a distinguished Professor of Economics of Technology at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where teaching focuses on various topics including digital platforms, cryptocurrency, and machine learning. Athey is the Founder of the Golub Capital Social Impact Lab, which leverages digital technology and social science to enhance social sector organizations. Additionally, Athey serves on the boards of several companies including Turo, LendingClub, Expedia, A Place for Rover, and Ripple Labs, and holds advisory roles with Nyca Partners and XSeed Capital. Athey has a PhD in Economics from Stanford University and a BA in Economics, Computer Science, and Mathematics from Duke University.
