Sean Preston

Sean Preston is an experienced engineering manager currently at Turquoise Health since July 2023. Previously, Sean held the role of engineering manager at Ethyca from January 2021 to July 2023, contributing to the development of OSS-based tools for data privacy compliance. At Marvel, from August 2014 to February 2021, Sean progressed from full stack engineer to lead software engineer, managing significant projects such as enterprise SSO integrations and the rollout of a GraphQL API. Sean's earlier roles include platform engineer at Rushmore.fm, where development of features for a Django-based platform was a focus, and manager of online at Holmes Group, overseeing web properties and legacy systems. Sean holds an MSc in Web Intelligence from King's College London and a BSc in Computer Science from Durham University.
