Hareem S.

Hareem S. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2017. That year, they worked as a Nutritional Aide at Saratoga Retirement Community, a Student Assistant at San José State University Research Foundation, and a Research Assistant at San José State University. In 2018, they worked as a Research Lab Technician at AEMTEK, Inc. In 2020, they worked as a Consultant at Summit Natural Resources, LLC, a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Davis, and an Overseas Researcher at Aga Khan University. Finally, in 2021, they worked as a Food Scientist and Food Science Intern at TurtleTree. In these roles, Hareem S. has led technical development of product formulations, designed and executed experiments and trials for food product development, conducted literature reviews, developed and executed studies using proteomics, created and edited class assignments, tutored and mentored students, graded exams and assignments, addressed client questions in nutrition and food chemistry, collaborated on studies in public health nutrition, applied knowledge of nutrition and sanitation, and updated course materials.

Hareem S. graduated from San Jose State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science and a Concentration in Dietetics. In 2020, Hareem S. began pursuing a Master of Science in Nutritional Biochemistry at the University of California, Davis, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, in May 2016, Hareem S. obtained a ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certified certification from a ServSafe Food Protection Manager Instructor.
