Junqi Wu, PhD

Junqi Wu, PhD has a diverse work experience. In 2014, they were a student representative in the school of Chemistry at the University of Birmingham and was also the chair and editor of the SATNAV science magazine. In 2015, they were a student representative in the QCAM-CQMF Advanced Material Research organization, a research assistant, and a teaching assistant at McGill University. In 2017, they were an intern at Grenoble INP-Pagora where they facilitated collaboration between two professors and explored the mechanical, rheological, and thermal properties of composite polymer materials. In 2019, they were in the Innovation Center Group Strategy and Transformation at Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany. In 2021, they were a short-term consultant at Merck KGaA in Guangdong, China. Currently, they are a postdoctoral researcher at Tufts University and a biomaterial research scientist at TurtleTree.

Junqi Wu, PhD obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University from 2011 to 2013. Junqi then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham from 2013 to 2015. In 2017, they obtained an Other degree from McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management in Mini MBA- EDC. Lastly, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Chemistry from McGill University from 2015 to 2020. In addition, they obtained certifications in Complete Python Bootcamp: Go from zero to hero in Python 3 from Udemy in May 2020, Machine Learning with Python from Coursera in May 2020, and Project Management Principles and Practices Specialization from Coursera in May 2020.
