Mika Hannula is the current Vice Rector at Turun yliopisto. Prior to their current position, Hannula served as the President of the Finnish Reserve Officers’ Federation from 2008 to 2013. From 2001 to 2018, they were the President at Tampere University of Technology. Hannula has also worked at the University of Tampere and National Defence Training Association of Finland.
Mika Hannula has earned doctorates from Säkylän seudun lukio and Tampere University of Technology. Mika also holds a D.Sc. (Tech.) in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tampere University of Technology, as well as a Lic.Tech. in the same field from the same school. Additionally, they have a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tampere University of Technology.
Their manager is Jukka Kola, Rector. They are on a team with Kalle-Antti Suominen - Vice Rector, Research, Jaakko Suominen - Dean, Faculty of Humanities, and Siru Helminen - Chief Financial Officer.
