Quality Engineer - UI

Responsibilities

• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful  feedback.
• Building & maintaining test automation framework from scratch for Frontend and Backend.
• created detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Implement automation framework and/or reporting tooling enhancement.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Participate in architecture and design discussions.

Requirements

• 2 years to 5 years of experience  in automated testing and software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or relevant experience.
• Strong experience in testing and automating AngularJS based Web applications using Javascript, Jasmine, Protractor and WebDriverIO.
• Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries e.g ES6, typescript and frameworks such as AngularJS,  KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, etc.
• Hands-on experience in test automation, building & maintaining test automation framework from scratch  for Frontend and Backend.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAXKnowledge on frontend/web application development.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and gulp.

Good to have

• Good to have experience in Performance Testing tools like JMeter
• Good to have hands-on experience in Java development and/or automation
• Good to have experience in dockers, selenoid and reporting frameworks/tools
• Good knowledge of databases (SQL, MongoDB etc)
