Dr. Denise Prewitt Arrington is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Assistant Principal at Tuscaloosa City Schools since June 1997, with additional roles as a teacher, Summer Learning District Lead, and Extended School Year (ESY) Summer School Facilitator. Dr. Arrington also contributes as an Adjunct Instructor at Stillman College since August 2020 and previously worked as a Grants Writer for the Foster Grandparent Program - Southern Indiana. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Administration and Supervision from The University of Alabama, an Educational Specialist degree in K-12 Administration from The University of Alabama, a Master of Education in Special Education from The University of West Alabama, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Tuskegee University.
