Robert Coates has extensive experience in educational administration, currently serving as the Director of Secondary Education and Director of Educational Programs at Tuscaloosa City Schools since June 2002. In this role, Robert oversees all K-12 programs with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction, Professional Development, Computer Education, and Educational Leadership. Prior to this position, Robert was the Principal at Central High School from June 2000 to June 2002. Robert holds two Master's degrees from the University of Alabama, one in Educational Leadership and another in Elementary Education.
