Shenchao Zhang

Shenchao Zhang has gained extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Shenchao started their career in 2018 as a Research Assistant at the SDSU Smart Transportation Analytics Research (STAR) Lab, where they worked until 2019. In 2017, they also worked as a Research Assistant at the SDSU Computer Vision Lab, a role that lasted until 2019.

In 2018, Shenchao also had an internship as a Data Scientist at OPERA SOLUTIONS, where they gained valuable experience in the field.

From 2019 onwards, Shenchao joined TuSimple, where they initially worked as a Map Production Engineer. In July 2020, they were promoted to the role of Tech Lead Map Product, a position they currently hold.

Overall, Shenchao Zhang has developed a solid foundation in research, data science, and leadership roles through their work experience.

Shenchao Zhang completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from San Diego State University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from East China University of Science and Technology, where they pursued their studies from 2005 to 2009.
