Joan Nnaji has a diverse range of work experience. Joan began their career in 2012 as an Internal Audit Trainee at the Ministry of Education in Ilorin, Kwara State during their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). In this role, they assisted in internal control functions, checked, verified, and vouched for financial records, and filed documents.

In 2014, Joan joined Akin Ogunbode & Co. (Chartered Accountants) in Lagos State as an Internal Audit Officer. Joan performed tasks such as checking, verification, and vouching of financial records of clients, computing various figures, processing Tax Clearance Certificates, and completed other duties as assigned by their manager.

Later in 2014, they transitioned to IROKO Partners Limited as an Offline Marketing Associate. Their responsibilities included soliciting and securing new customers, converting prospects into active customers, and addressing customer requests, inquiries, and complaints.

Joan then joined MTN Nigeria in 2014 as a Customer Service Representative. Their duties in this role were attending to customers' requests, raising trouble tickets, providing adequate resolutions, maintaining good corporate relations, and promoting the products and services of the company.

Their most recent experience is with Tuteria, where they started in June 2016 as the Lead Learning Support. At Tuteria, Joan connected customers with suitable tutors, critically assessed tutor profiles to ensure a perfect fit, and actively sold, up-sold, and cross-sold offline and online products to customers in Nigeria and the Diaspora.

Joan Nnaji pursued their undergraduate education from 2008 to 2012 at Osun State University. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting.
