Bethany Reaves

Bethany Reaves has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Tutor at Tutor.com since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a School Counselor at Deep Creek Central Elementary School from 2019 to 2022, where they provided counseling lessons, addressed student data, and offered support through individual student meetings. From 2017 to 2019, Bethany worked as a School Counselor at Central Elementary School, providing classroom lessons on personal, social/emotional, and career development, as well as supporting student well-being and mental health. Bethany also gained experience as a School Counselor Intern at James Benson Dudley High School in 2017, where they provided counseling services to high school students. Additionally, Bethany has worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Assistant at Appalachian State University in 2016 and 2015 respectively, as a Teaching Assistant at Duke University Talent Identification Program in 2015, and as a Summer Support at Stanly Medical Services from 2011 to 2013. Bethany also completed an internship at Dragonfly Forest in 2012 during their academic years.

Bethany Reaves completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University, where they attended from 2011 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Professional School Counseling from the same university, which they completed from 2015 to 2017.
