Kenan Omercajic

Kenan Omercajic, PhD, has a diverse work experience starting from 2016. Kenan worked as a Research Assistant at Western University, where they were involved in a team that received a SSHRC grant to research and support youth of gender diverse identities and expressions in schools. This included studying trans-affirmative educational policies and practices in Canadian, American, and Australian schools, as well as developing curriculum resources.

Additionally, they worked as a Course Instructor at Western University, teaching a workshop-based course on equity and inclusive education to teacher candidates.
