Zhenkang Chen

Zhenkang Chen has a strong background in industrial services, cybersecurity, and functional safety engineering. Zhenkang has worked at TÜV Rheinland Group as the Head of Industrial Services and Cybersecurity, where they were responsible for managing the department's P&L, business development, and team management. Zhenkang focused on safety, security, and quality assurance for engineering activities in various industries in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, Zhenkang was a Senior Functional Safety Engineer at YOKOGAWA ENGINEERING ASIA PTE LTD, where they gained expertise in functional safety engineering. Zhenkang also worked as an HW/SW Application Engineer at Schneider Electric, where they developed basic design and detail engineering, software logics, control configuration using Triconex software, and integrated with DCS systems for Human Machine Interface applications. Zhenkang achieved TUV certified functional safety Engineer during their time at Schneider Electric. Zhenkang has proven their ability to handle hardware, system integration, and successfully deliver projects with quality on time.

Zhenkang Chen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, graduating in 2008. In 2012, they became a TUV FS Engineer through TUV Rheinland. Zhenkang also holds certifications as a Certified Smart Industry Readiness Index Assessor from the SIRI Institute, obtained in 2021, and as a TUV Rheinland Expert-Functional Safety, obtained in 2020.
