Stefan Burde

Stefan Burde currently serves as Director of Global Growth IVD at TÜV SÜD since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as IVD Senior Technical Specialist and IVD Technical Specialist at BSI, focusing on technical documentation review and quality systems assessment for IVD products regulated by European directives. Stefan has also held positions such as Director of Systems Development at Advanced Liquid Logic, overseeing point-of-care product development and cross-functional IVD programs, and Staff Scientist at BioMerieux, leading an international R&D team in molecular diagnostics for bloodstream infections. Earlier roles include Research Scientist at Bayer Biological Products, developing real-time PCR assays, and Technical Staff Member at Los Alamos National Laboratory, with a postdoctoral focus on biological imaging and cytometry. Stefan earned a PhD in Pathology from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
