Surya Kopparthi

Surya Kopparthi is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in functional safety, currently serving as a Senior Functional Safety Engineer at TÜV SÜD since July 2021. Prior to this role, Surya worked as a Functional Safety Engineer at Nidec Motor Corporation, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards, conducting safety analyses, and facilitating customer review meetings. Surya's earlier experience includes roles as a Process Engineer at Product Movers, a Student Logistics Coordinator at Bowling Green State University, and a Safety/Improvement Engineer at Hindustan Shipyard Limited in India. Surya holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Graduate Certificate in Quality Systems from Bowling Green State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research.
