Lucas Barbosa has worked in the tech industry since 2014. Lucas began their career at Accenture Brazil as a Systems Analyst, where they worked supporting data integration between SAP and MasterSAF, analyzing and solving problems, correcting and loading data into MasterSAF, and analyzing a large amount of data that was transferred to MasterSAF daily. Lucas also had experience developing user interface in MasterSAF to generate reports and perform automatically some tasks. Lucas then became an IT Field Support Supervisor, where they were in charge of the IT local field support and two remote teams, supporting a park with about 3000 users, and providing VIP support to partners and the CEO. In 2019, Lucas joined Uber as a Risk and Fraud Prevention Analyst, where they worked with customer service, with data analyses looking for fraud patterns and new behaviors in order to prevent financial losses to both company and user. Lucas also created and shared with the team various queries in SQL and spreadsheets to automatize daily tasks. In 2021, Lucas became the Tech Lead at Tuvis (formerly Whatslly).

Lucas Barbosa obtained a Tecnólogo in Gestão da Tecnologia da Informação from Universidade Paulista in 2018. Lucas also took courses at Trainning Education in Oracle PL/SQL, Senac Brasil in Time Management, Leadership Development, and Negotiation Techniques, and Mondial Tecnologia in Excel - Basic To Advanced. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Scrum: The Basics, Gestão de Novos Gerentes, and Liderança sem Autoridade Formal.
