People Operations Manager at Tuxera

Debbie Li started their professional career as an HR Associate at China State Construction International Holdings Limited from July 2014 to May 2015. Debbie then joined SAP in 2015 as part of the HR Early Talent program, where they gained experience in HRBP, HR Shared Service Delivery, and Talent Acquisition, including a work rotation in China. After completing the program, they became an SAP Learning & Development Associate in the Global Ombudsoffice from May 2016 to October 2016.

In 2017, Debbie Li joined Tuxera as a People Operations Specialist, responsible for enabling the company's growth and improving flexible processes. Debbie later transitioned to the role of People Operations Manager, driving various HR topics such as employee life cycle, payroll, recruitment, employer branding, talent/organization development, and more.

In addition to their corporate experience, Debbie Li also organized and ran the Helsinki People Professionals Meetup group, bringing together HR professionals from both Finland and abroad.

Debbie Li has a strong educational background in public administration. Debbie obtained their Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Anhui University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Management with a focus on Public Administration from Renmin University of China from 2011 to 2014. During their master's program, they also participated in a Bilateral Agreement Exchange Program at the University of Helsinki from 2012 to 2013, where they studied Political Science and Government.

In addition to their formal education, Debbie Li has also obtained a certification in "Uncovering Your Authentic Self at Work" from LinkedIn in September 2021.
