Michael Lewis

Michael Lewis has worked for several organizations since 1995. Michael began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Michael then moved to the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1998, where they held the roles of Instructor and Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2001, they became a Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2010, they became a Limited Partner at StemMed Ltd. Most recently, in 2018, they became a Co-founder of Tvardi Therapeutics Inc.

Michael Lewis obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology, General from William & Mary between 1982 and 1986. Michael then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz between 1989 and 1995.
