Dr. Khushnandan Rai

Dr. Khushnandan Rai has been working in the field of AI research since 2021, when they joined Tvarit GmbH as an AI Researcher. Prior to that, they were a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 2015 to 2021. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur. In 2011, they were a project trainee at the ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) in Bangalore, where they had the opportunity to learn real time application based data compression algorithms for space applications and image compression standards.

Dr. Khushnandan Rai began their educational journey by obtaining a 10th degree from the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan in 2005-2006. Dr. Khushnandan then obtained a 12th degree from the same institution in 2007-2008. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Avionics from the Indian Institute Of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram from 2008-2012. In 2013-2015, they obtained a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biophysics and Computational Biology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2015-2021. Additionally, Dr. Khushnandan Rai has obtained a Summer Internship Training in Digital System Group from Sheila Iyer, Head of HRD Division PPEG, ISAC (ISRO) and a Japanese language certification.
