Nikita Borisenko has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Scientific Associate at the Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics, where they developed software for experimental data processing, took part in heavy ion beam experiments, and conducted theoretical research and computer modelling. In 2007, they became the Owner of BopLand.org, where they created a unique project for jazz musicians, defined the project vision, and managed design and technical implementation. That same year, they also worked as a Software Engineer at Exchengine.com, where they developed and supported an electronic currency exchange system and prevented/managed information security issues. In 2008, they became a Senior Software Engineer at GeneGo Inc., where they developed and supported products for pathway analysis, partially refactored code, and introduced coding standards and a data backup system. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Topadvert as a Senior Software Engineer, developing a native/e-commerce ad serving platform and a framework for contextual analysis of web pages, as well as creating/introducing a project management suite for CI. Finally, from 2012 to 2022, they worked at IPONWEB as Head of Product, leading company products, having technical and business ownership, P&L, and negotiations, and launching new product lines. Nikita also held the roles of Solutions Architect, UI Practice Lead, and Project Manager at IPONWEB. Currently, they are a Senior Product Director at tvbeat.

Nikita Borisenko began their education in 1990 at Moscow School 7, where they completed their studies in 1995. Nikita then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Plasma Physics and Heavy Ion Fusion at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), which they completed in 2001. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Math and Digital Signal Processing from the Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics in 2005.
