Marek Kielczewski

Marek Kielczewski is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Grass Valley since October 2022. In this role, they are responsible for the transformation of engineering and the strategic shift towards a software-centric product portfolio. Marek oversees global R&D and product management across all product lines, including the next-gen AMPP SaaS live broadcast production solution.

Prior to joining Grass Valley, Marek was the CTO and Co-founder of TVCoins, a startup. In this role, they designed and built a white-label multi-tenant AWS cloud-native platform and apps, focusing on serverless and massively scalable solutions.

From 2016 to 2021, Marek worked at SeaChange International, where they held various roles, including CTO. Marek was responsible for global R&D, product management, and delivery for all product lines. Marek also led technology vision and innovation roadmap, overseeing operational aspects from architecture to design and delivery.

Before SeaChange International, Marek co-founded and served as CEO of DCC Labs, a startup focused on professional services and outsourced multiscreen software development for IPTV and cable operators in Europe.

Earlier in their career, Marek worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Sentivision, where they played a key role in managing software engineering teams, project management, and business development. Marek also oversaw the inception of Sentivision products.

Marek's career began at EUnet in 1995, where they worked as a C/C++ developer and server administrator, gaining experience in software development and server administration.

Between 2000 and 2002, Marek held the position of IT Director at 7bulls.com, where they managed a team of Linux developers and focused on software development, particularly in embedded software for Linux.

Marek Kielczewski attended the Warsaw University of Technology from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
