Matt Hopkins

Matt Hopkins has a diverse work experience starting with the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union (TVFCU), where they held several roles. Matt worked as a Financial Services Consultant from April 2014 to October 2015, assisting members and facilitating transactions. From October 2015 to December 2020, they served as a Staffing Specialist, responsible for processing job requisitions, conducting interviews, and managing applicant data. In January 2021, they were promoted to Human Resources Manager, and then in April 2023, they became the Human Resources Director at TVFCU.

Prior to their time at TVFCU, Matt had a role as a Membership Services Representative at the YMCA of the USA from November 2012 to May 2018.

Matt Hopkins obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga between 2012 and 2016. Matt then pursued a Master of Professional Studies in Human Resource Leadership from Tennessee Technological University from 2023 to 2025. In addition, they obtained a certification in CCM from CUES in August 2020.
