Lara Barlow currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing, Philanthropy, Communications, and Partnerships at TVO, where a customer-focused approach has been implemented, and a strategic brand campaign targeting millennials and new Canadians has been developed. Previously, Lara held the position of General Manager for the US at Travelzoo, overseeing a $70 million USD budget with nine direct reports, and as General Manager and Board Director for Canada, managing all operations with full P&L accountability. Lara's earlier experience includes serving as Group Advertising Director at Toronto Star, where leadership over a $40 million budget and team management were key responsibilities. Education includes an International MBA in Marketing and Strategy from Schulich School of Business, a BASc. in Food, Nutrition & Consumer Behaviour from Ryerson University, and additional studies at Northwestern University.
