Gilbert Farina

Vice President of Sales and Marketing at TVP Solar

Gilbert Farina has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Gilbert started as a Sales Manager at Hewlett-Packard Switzerland in 1990 and worked there until 1994. From 1995 to 1999, Farina served as the Corporate Channel Development Manager for EMEA and later as the General Manager of the Commercial Channel at HP South Africa, where they successfully transformed the distribution model and significantly increased market share. In 1999, they became the General Manager for the Africa region at Hewlett-Packard, where they established a new business geography and experienced substantial revenue growth. Farina joined HP in France in 2003 and held positions such as VP & GM PSG France, where they achieved revenue of over 1 billion euros and maintained the number one position in the country. Gilbert later became the VP Corporate and Enterprise Sales EMEA, where they were responsible for transforming the sales approach and developing a global sales strategy. In 2013, Farina joined Computer Information Systems as the Chief Commercial Officer and played a key role in developing and implementing the group's commercial strategy. Gilbert then moved on to serve as a Business Development Advisor at Optimiso Group SA and darTZeel Audio SA in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Currently, Farina holds the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at TVP SOLAR SA and also serves as a Sales and Marketing board Advisor at the same company.

Gilbert Farina pursued their education in a chronological fashion, starting with their Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Ecole d Ingenieur de Genève. Gilbert completed this degree program from 1981 to 1986. Later, in 1993 to 1994, they attended INSEAD, where they obtained a YMP degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on the general field of study.
