Erik Waldman

VP, Venue Services at TVS

Erik Waldman is the current VP of Venue Services at TVS. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Director of Special Events at the Georgia World Congress Center Authority from January 2016 to December 2019. In this role, they were responsible for producing major campus-wide events, including Super Bowl LIII. Erik also led the team that planned 85% of the NFL sanctioned events on campus, from contract negotiations to final settlement.

From December 2011 to January 2016, Erik served as the Director of Event Operations at the Georgia Dome. In this role, they managed Event Operations for the 71,250 seat Georgia Dome. Erik was responsible for working with departments to ensure contractual terms were met for each client, as well as overseeing all event settlements and managing operating budgets for responsible departments. Erik was also a member of the Leadership Team of the Georgia Dome and participated on the Authority Executive Committee. During their time with the Georgia Dome, Erik also worked with the Atlanta Falcons, HOK and HHRM on the design of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Erik has extensive experience in event management and coordination, both at large venues and on a campus-wide scale. Erik has a proven track record of success in producing major events and overseeing all aspects of their planning and execution.

Erik Waldman has a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Central Florida. Erik is certified as a Venue Executive by the International Association of Venue Managers.

Erik Waldman reports to Janet Simpson, President & CEO. They work with Joe Diesko - Principal, Jeanie Lim - Principal, and Rob Svedberg - Principal.
