Matthew Tovey is a seasoned food scientist with extensive experience in product development and culinary innovation. At Twang Partners since May 2017, Matthew has progressed from Food Scientist Intern to Senior Food Scientist, leading the development of various branded and private label food products, including beverage mixes and spice blends, while also supervising production pilots. Prior to this role, Matthew gained valuable experience as a Culinary Intern at C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc., and as a Student Worker at The Culinary Institute of America, where involvement included recipe development and assisting in culinary classes. Matthew holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Science/Culinology and an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from The Culinary Institute of America, complemented by previous culinary roles including Line Cook and Kitchen Manager.
