Kelly Hixson

Kelly Hixson has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Kelly started their career at BAE Systems in 2004, where they served as a Sr. Support Specialist. Their responsibilities included providing administrative support, producing program schedules and reports, serving as a travel administrator, providing IT support, and acting as a website administrator. Kelly also contributed to the UNIX Test Team, served as a database administrator for action items, and assisted the security officer. Kelly created and documented company policies and procedures and streamlined filing systems. In 2007, they moved on to AOC-AT, where they worked as a Program Coordinator until 2009. Kelly then joined NJVC, LLC as an Operations Analyst until September 2009. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Project Coordinator at Praxis, Inc. In 2012, they joined TWD & Associates, Inc. as a Project Scheduler. And in 2015, they joined Sayres and Associates, Corp as a Cyber Security Analyst, where they are currently employed.

Kelly Hixson has had a diverse education history. Kelly attended Northern Virginia Community College from 1995 to 2013, where they earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Studies. In 2016, Kelly enrolled in Germanna Community College, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. During this time, they also completed an additional Associate's degree in General Studies at Germanna Community College, which they started in an unknown year and finished in 2020. Kelly then transferred to Liberty University in 2020 and is expected to graduate in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Data Networking and Security.
