Jasper van Koppen has extensive experience in military, academic, and security roles. Currently serving as Deputy Head at the Security Authority Bureau of the Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal since September 2022, Jasper also holds the position of Army Officer in the Ministry of Defence since April 2009, overseeing a company responsible for 150 personnel. Prior positions include Military Analyst for current operations in Afghanistan, Chair of the Participation Council and Security Advisor at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, and Senior Political Risk and Security Consultant at International Business Risk Solutions. With a Master's in International Relations and Political Theory from the University of Amsterdam and a Royal Military Academy education, Jasper combines military leadership with academic expertise in public management and security.
